For the sake of sharing, I change the language to English and hope people from other location can understand my blog with less effort.
This time I've made a Floral Origami Globe (picture attached) with 20 triangular units (each from 1 square paper) and 12 pentagon units (each from 2 square paper). The module is from the famous Japanese origami talent, Tomoko Fuse.
The design is very flexible and can allow you to have a lot of variation. The same unit can evolve into square based units as well as hexagonal units. Then you can construct many combinations of polyhedron models.
I've used 1 day (part-time basis) to complete the model. The model holds together well and the process of combining the units together is not hard.
